Te Kākano – Year 10
Students will consider what they have to offer the world and their future within it. This will be achieved through:
- So They Can fundraiser for collective service
- Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award
- Camp at the Hillary Outdoors Centre in Tongariro National Park
- Poroāki dinner
- Form monitors for Y7 and Y8 classes
- Sports committee lunch activities
- Cultural committee Junior House Drama organisation
- Wellbeing activities within form and subject classes
Transition activity/Poroaki dinner
All whānau will be invited to an end of year dinner which will include some elements of poroaki. Each student will receive a kete which includes a Te Kākano badge/ribbon and a graduation certificate acknowledging their strengths and achievements.
