Kapa Haka at Marsden offers students a vibrant opportunity to embrace Māori culture, build confidence and connect through the beauty of waiata.
Kapa Haka is open to all students, regardless of their ethnicity or experience, who welcome the opportunity to learn songs from other cultures. Students learn a variety of waiata and action songs, as well as tī rākau and poi.
Kapa Haka meets one lunchtime a week to practise, and often performs for school events.
