Yesterday, the Auditorium was alive and buzzing as all six Houses came together to compete in Marsden's much-anticipated House Music competition. Each House performed the waiata "Kua Tata" followed by a song chosen by their respective House Captains. The hours of practice, planning, and dedication were evident in every performance.
The chosen songs for each House were:
- Baber: "Viva la Vida" by Coldplay, arranged by Ella
- Hadfield-Beere: "Since U Been Gone" by Kelly Clarkson, arranged by Chloe
- Jellicoe: "Just the Way You Are" by Bruno Mars, arranged by Georgia
- Johnson: "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey, arranged by Kade
- Richmond: "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, arranged by Sage
- Swainson-Riddiford: "Take a Chance on Me" by ABBA, arranged by Ari.
A big thank you goes out to our wonderful MCs, Georgia and Eliza, who kept the event running smoothly and filled in time while the judges could deliberate with a fun quiz. Special thanks also to our guest adjudicator, Tom Chatterton, for his expert insights.
