Three Old Girls receive Gold Award
Three recent Marsden Old Girls were presented their Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Hillary Award at a ceremony hosted by the Governor-General, The Rt Hon Dame Cindy Kiro, at Government House on 20 May. Rachel Albiston, Paige Martin (HG 2021) and Rebecca Stewart were among 80 rangatahi from across Aotearoa to receive their award.
The Gold Award highlights exceptional achievements in developing new skills, getting active, supporting the community, planning, leading and experiencing an Adventurous Journey. Each year only a tiny number worldwide gain their Gold Award.
