Marsden Carol Service at Wellington Cathedral
After a COVID enforced hiatus, it was heartening to be able to hold our traditional end of year Carol Service at the Wellington Cathedral of St Paul on Monday night. As it has done in the past, this year's "Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols" beautifully marked the start of a special week of celebrations and final events.
The nine lessons were read by a Y9, Y10, Y11 and a Y12 student, followed by the Sacristan, Head Girl, Chaplain, Principal, and finally Reverend Katie Lawrence. Our three choirs; Altissime, Ad Summa and Larks sang magnificently, immersing us in the spirit of Christmas.
Everyone was so pleased to be gathered again. Thank you to all the families and friends of Marsden who joined us for this highlight on our festive calendar.
