Marsden students take team building to the trees
Marsden Year 9 students have been busy developing their leadership skills and making new friends with our "Leave no one behind" focus day.
Students started with a group workshop learning about team building, friendship and shared decision making. Then their task to construct outfits using newspapers and whatever else they could find put these positive leadership skills to good use.
Their training was topped off with a trip to Adrenalin Forest, a multi-level aerial obstacle course, where they really put their learning into action. The course is designed for climbing, jumping and swinging metres up in the air and requires not just physical agility, but mental skills and, of course, looking out for your friends.
Our girls loved it, what a great team!
