Creativity abounds in Melbourne
Marsden Art and Design Students had a creative and stimulating time in Melbourne, starting with a two day workshop at The Whitehouse Institute of Design. Here they took an idea and developed it with the expertise of Institute staff.

They toured the National Gallery of Victoria with former Artist in Residence, Irene Ferguson taking in the historical collection and also the contemporary abstract and political art collections.
Channeling all things 'Alice' our girls took a trip through the looking glass into the enchanted world of 'Wonderland' a very cool ACMi digital interactive installation.

Students were billeted with families from Firbank Grammar, and were delighted to catch up with former Principal Jenny Williams at a BBQ organised by their host families. Jenny is Head of Firbank Grammar.
All agreed it was a fantastic trip. See more photos on our Facebook page.
