Director of Sport & Active Recreation
Rosie Kirkpatrick began her career post university at Marsden and we are thrilled she returned to us in 2023 as our Director of Sport & Active Recreation.
Working Background
After graduating from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physical Education and a Bachelor of Commerce, Rosie oversaw Marsden’s Primary Sports and whole school netball programme from 2015 to 2017.
She then spent two years as Director of Sport at Onslow College before joining Athletics Canada’s High Performance team. On returning to New Zealand, she became Tournament Director at Basketball New Zealand. When Marsden advertised for a new Director of Sport & Active Recreation, Rosie saw it as the perfect opportunity to return to a role she considers her dream job.
I love working with students, and the staff and parents at Marsden are wonderfully supportive. I'm very passionate about growing girls' sport within New Zealand, and ensuring students have the opportunity to be active doing something that they really enjoy.
