Personalised Learning Teacher

Rebecca Kelynack is a dedicated Personalised Learning teacher in our Primary School and also works as a Teacher Aide one day a week in Marsden’s upper school. She brings extensive experience teaching Years 1-8, beginning her career in Hawke’s Bay with senior primary students and later transitioning to teach younger students, including new entrants, in Wellington.

For the past decade, Rebecca has been balancing her love of teaching with part-time roles, even establishing a private literacy and mathematics tutoring business, which she has managed for the last five years. She is thrilled to be back in a school environment, fostering student growth and learning.

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Education (Primary Teaching) and has completed specialised training, including the Sounds-Write course in linguistic phonics and the Science of Learning. She is particularly excited to continue her professional development, with plans to study through Learning MATTERS and work toward accreditation with the International Dyslexia Association next year.

Outside of the classroom, Rebecca enjoys time outdoors - whether pottering in her garden, walking through the beautiful Ōtari-Wilton's Bush, or relaxing in the Wairarapa. Rebecca is a valued member of Marsden Primary’s staff, enriching educational outcomes for all primary students.
