Jo is the Primary Administrator at Marsden, where she takes care of all things related to Marsden Primary, as well as being the PA to the Head of Primary. Her responsibilities also include managing the school’s facilities bookings and external hires, in addition to providing administrative support for the entire school.

Jo plays a key role in ensuring that the school runs smoothly behind the scenes. She is often the first point of contact for Marsden Primary and is known for her friendly, approachable demeanor. 

Jo has a long and special history with Marsden, having first joined the school as a student in Year 9 and graduating in Year 13 in 1980. Jo returned to Marsden in 1996 as the school receptionist, and quickly became a much-valued member of the staff. In 1998, she took on the role of Enrolments Manager and later became PA to the Head of Primary, juggling both roles until 2017.

Now solely focused on Marsden Primary, Jo enjoys the daily connection with students and staff. With 28 years on staff (and even more as part of our wider Marsden whānau), Jo’s dedication and warmth continue to leave a lasting impact on our community.

Interests outside of school

Outside of her work, Jo loves travelling, especially overseas holidays and cruises. A self-proclaimed foodie, she enjoys eating out and spending time with her two grandchildren, who she adores. Family is a top priority for Jo, and she cherishes every moment spent with them.
