Mathematics and Statistics Teacher
Teaching at Marsden
Belinda Brown joined Marsden at the beginning of 2025 and teaches Mathematics and Statistics from Year 7 through to Year 13. With extensive teaching experience in both New Zealand and Australia, she has worked in co-ed, state and special character single-sex schools, bringing a broad perspective to her teaching.
Experience and education
Holding an MSc in Geology and a Diploma in Secondary Education, Belinda has a strong background in STEM subjects, including Statistics, along with experience in Social Sciences. She is passionate about helping students develop confidence in Mathematics, particularly those who may not have enjoyed the subject before.
Life outside the classroom
Outside of the classroom, Belinda enjoys spending time with her family, walking her two labradors along Wellington’s beaches and bush tracks, reading, and cooking.
