Old Girl honoured for service to screen and theatre
Marsden warmly congratulations Old Girl, Miranda Harcourt on her investiture as a Dame Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit. Miranda was recognised for her immense contribution to the screen and theatre industry. Governor General Dame Cindy Kiro presented Miranda with her medal on Tuesday at Government House.

Mkiranda was thrilled to celebrate alongside her mother, Dame Kate, who was recognised as a Dame 26 years earlier. Many of Dame Miranda’s achievements in theatre were done alongside husband Stuart McKenzie. Their daughter Thomasin McKenzie (also a Marsden Old Girl) has been lauded in recent years for her work in international feature films.
