Vikki Stephens – Mechanical Engineer

Vikki Stephens graduated from Marsden in 2008 and went on to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Canterbury, graduating with Honours in 2013. In her final year she was part of a research and design team working on a project for Trinder Engineers to assess the driver’s cab of their industrial vehicles for crash safety.
As a Chartered Professional Engineer Vikki has lead projects in a variety of engineering sectors; with a focus on efficient, low energy solutions. After university she worked for BECA, one of New Zealand's leading engineering consultancies, successfully delivering a range of commercial, laboratory and airport related projects. It was here that she developed a passion for environmentally conscious approaches to design.
After 5 years at BECA Vikki left New Zealand to travel overseas and extend her experience and she is currently working in London as a Senior Building Services Engineer.
