The countdown begins for the 2010 Leavers' Ball!

The celebratory highlight of the final year of Year 13 students, the Leavers' Ball is a sparkling formal occasion held at the Wellington Town Hall. Parents of Year 13 students are encouraged to share the evening with their families and friends, to witness the culmination of their daughters’ Marsden experience.

The 2010 Leavers' Ball Committee is well into the planning of the event, and here’s a snapshot of this year’s Ball:

Wellington Town Hall – Presentation & Ball

Formal/Black tie (Ball gowns for Leavers)

The evening begins with cocktails in the Renouf Foyer of Michael Fowler Centre.  Guests will then adjourn to the Wellington Town Hall for the traditional presentation of Leavers to the Bishop of Wellington, Thomas Brown, and his wife, Mrs Brown.  This is followed by formal dances - The Leavers’ Waltz and Leaver-Partner Dance, ending with a seated three-course dinner and dancing until late.

With the larger Year 13 group this year, ticket numbers are limited.  Tables are allocated in the order that payment is received, so please return the order form with payment as soon as possible.  Closing date for ticket sales is Friday, 29 October 2010.
